Youth learn creative media skills while expressing their identity and story
The Creative Futures Program within Pathway to Promise empowers youth by
combining creativity, self-expression, mentorship, and real-world career exposure.
Through photography, fashion, beauty, media production, and travel exploration,
participants discover their identity, develop confidence, and gain practical skills that can
lead to entrepreneurship and career pathways.
The program creates a safe and inspiring environment where young people learn to see
their future differently—and capture it through their own lens
Program Design
Participants engage in an 8-week structured program
The program culminates in the Dream Shoot Experience, where youth produce professional-level work.

CARMEN MARTIN /FOUNDER President
Carmen Martin is the founder of Pathway to Promise. A mother of 3 and a grandmother to 1 grandson. She holds a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice/Psychology A Master's in Education. She is passionate about advocacy, empowerment, and providing resources that help youth rebuild their lives with dignity and strength.
VONDA DEGREE/FOUNDER Vice President
Vonda DeGree is the VP of Pathway to Promise. She holds a BS in Criminal Justice.Which strenthens her commitment to youth advocacy, pervention. She works with Sandy Hook Project, Children Hospital Stomp out Smoking Campaign. Work that promotes a healthy lifestyle.
